Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about ShopFlowOP — built for Australian panel and paint workshops. Can't find what you're after? Ask us directly.
Getting started
How do I get started?
ShopFlowOP is in private beta. Apply for early access and we'll onboard your workshop personally — including a guided setup of your team, services, and any data you want to migrate from spreadsheets or other tools.
Do I need a credit card to apply?
No. Early-access workshops are free for the duration of the beta. We'll give you plenty of notice before any plan kicks in.
How long does setup take?
About a week for a single site. We sit with you (remotely) to import your team, configure NTAR labour rates, and connect optional integrations like rego lookup and eBay parts search.
Can I import data from my current system?
Yes. We work directly with you to bring across customers, vehicles, suppliers, and historical jobs from spreadsheets, iBodyshop, or similar — CSV-based for most entities, bespoke for the rest.
Features
Is the quoting really NTAR-compliant?
Yes. The quoting engine is built around NTAR — labour codes, paint groups, blend percentages, sublet, and parts all roll up into compliant quotes that integrate with how Australian assessors and insurers work.
How does the parts integration work?
You search aftermarket and recycled parts (via the eBay Browse API) directly from a part line on a quote — make/model/year automatically narrow the results — then add a chosen part with one click. Pricing flows straight into the quote total. OEM parts can be added manually or via your supplier list.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes — a companion app for tablet/phone covers job lookup, photo capture (damage and repair), quotes and a built-in team chat per job. iOS and Android.
Can my customers track their repair?
Yes. Each job has a public tracking link that shows the customer a clean progress view (current status and expected completion) — no login needed, with your workshop's name on it.
Data & security
Where is my data hosted?
On Supabase (Postgres) in an Australian region, with secure file storage for documents and photos. We follow the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. All traffic is TLS-encrypted, data is encrypted at rest in the database, and OAuth tokens (where you connect services like Google Sheets) are encrypted before storage with a key only the application holds.
Can I export my data?
You own your data. You can export job summaries, parts and purchase orders to a spreadsheet from inside the app. If you leave, we provide a full export and then delete your workshop on request.
Who can access my workshop's data?
Only the users you invite. Each workshop's data is kept separate from every other workshop's — staff from one workshop cannot see another workshop's data, even by mistake. Two-factor authentication is available on every account.
Pricing & contracts
What is the pricing?
Three plans at launch: Solo A$39/month (1–3 staff), Workshop A$199/month (up to 10 team members) and Professional for multi-site groups, by arrangement. Free during the private beta — billing starts after it, with notice. See the pricing page for details.
Are there per-seat or per-job fees?
No. Each plan covers its team size and every job. No surprise overage charges.
What if I run multiple workshops?
That's the Professional plan. Get in touch and we'll help you set up a multi-workshop arrangement that suits how you operate.
How do I cancel?
Cancel any time from Settings. There's no lock-in contract. We'll keep your data accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export.
Support
How do I get help?
Email [email protected] — replies typically within one business day, Mon–Fri 9am–5pm AEST. Early-access workshops get a direct line during onboarding.
How often do you ship updates?
Weekly. New features and fixes roll out continuously without downtime. We'll let you know about anything that changes how you work.
Still have questions?
We'd rather have a quick chat than leave you guessing. We onboard every workshop personally.
